COMPANY HISTORY [ Suzuka Circuitland ]
1961 February Company name: Motor Sports Land Co., Ltd. Established at 3-6 Kyobashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo with 250 million yen capital.
October Tama Tech (Hino, Tokyo) began operation.
1962 June Company name changed to Techniland Co., Ltd.
September Suzuka Circuit, Japan’s first full-fledged racing course, which surpassed the international standard, was completed.
1963 January The first automotive amusement park was built at Suzuka Circuit and operation began.
1966 February Tech Production was started with the aim of development and construction of amusement facilities.
1968 April The company name was changed to Hondaland Co., Ltd.
1969 July Capital was increased to 2 billion yen.
1978 July Suzuka 8 hours Endurance Motorcycle Race was held.
1987 March Motorcycle Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix of Japan was held at Suzuka Circuit.
June The company name was changed to Suzuka Circuitland Co., Ltd.
The head office was moved to Suzuka, Mie prefecture.
November Formula One World Championship Japanese Grand Prix was held at Suzuka Circuit.
1994 December The natural hot springs Kur Garden opened at Suzuka Circuit.
1997 January Circuit Service Creates Co., Ltd. was established as a 100% company subsidiary.
September The natural hot springs Kur Garden and the Chinese restaurant Lou Lan opened at Tama Tech.
2000 July Kochira’s Putti Town opened at Suzuka Circuit.
2002 March Kochira’s Putti Town opened at Tama Tech.
2006 June Merged with Twin Ring Motegi Co., Ltd., and changed the company name to Mobilityland Corporation.

1991 February Honda Mobility World Co., Ltd., was established in Minami Aoyama, Minato-ku, Tokyo, with 100 million yen capital.
1994 January The company name was changed to Twin Ring Motegi Co., Ltd.
1997 April Head office was moved to Yaesu, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
August Twin Ring Motegi was opened and began operation.
1998 March CART was held. Fan Fun Lab, Honda Collection Hall and Hotel Twin Ring were opened.
June “Mote-Tai,” or Motegi Open 7-hour Endurance Road Race, was held with the aim of becoming the world’s best grass race.
1999 April FIM Motorcycle Road Race World Championship was held.
October Motegi Hot Air Balloon International Championship was held.
2000 June FIM Trial World Championship was held.
July Hello Woods was opened.
2003 March Mobility Island Petit Town was opened. Environmental Management Systems ISO 14001 certification was obtained.
April The first INDY Japan 300 Mile Race was held.
2005 March Information Center and Mobility Island Kart Land opened.
April The SAFER Barrier system with a mechanism to absorb the impact of collisions was introduced to Super Speedway.
2006 June Merged with Suzuka Circuitland Co., Ltd. and the company name to Mobilityland Corporation.
